I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. DRB File No. 19315, 49-53 Collins Avenue. The applicant, Southpointe Heights,
L.L.C., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building
Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for the construction of a
new 7-story mixed-use residential/retail structure, which will replace an existing
parking lot.
CONTINUED TO JULY 1, 2008
2. DRB File No. 19975, 95 Alton Road – South Pointe Pump Station. The
applicant, the City of Miami Beach, is requesting a one (1) year Extension of
Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new single story wastewater booster station on
a vacant lot.

3. DRB File No. 19836, 1681-1693 West Avenue. The applicant, 1681 West Ave,
LLC., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building
Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for the construction of a
new 5-story mixed-use project.

II. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Single Family Homes
a. DRB File No. 21637, 5524 Pinetree Dr. - Single Family Home. The
applicant, Edward Lieberman, is requesting Design Review Approval for
alterations to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant 2-story home,
including the construction of a new 2-story addition at both the front and rear
of the home.

2. Previously Continued Projects
a. DRB File No. 21457, 1766 Bay Road – Ouzo’s Greek Taberna & Bar. The
applicant, Ouzo’s Greek Taberna & Bar, is requesting ‘After-the-Fact’ Design

Review Approval for the installation of decorative pavers and an outdoor
seating area, within existing public right-of-way.

3. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 21638, 850-868 Commerce Street – Ocean One. The
applicant, Ocean one at South Pointe LLC., is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 5-story multifamily building, which will
replace four (4), one (1) and two (2) story multifamily buildings, to be
demolished.
