I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. DRB File No. 19649, 234-236 Jefferson Avenue. The applicant, The Housing
Authority of the City of Miami Beach, is requesting a one (1) year Extension of
Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 4-story structure for low-income elderly
housing on a vacant lot.
APPROVED
2. DRB File No. 19650, 4528 Prairie Avenue – Single Family Home. The
applicants, Peter Smith and Angela Robertson, are requesting a one (1) year
Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design
Review Approval for alterations to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant
2-story home, including the construction of a roof top addition, single story
additions, and a ground level 2-story addition.

The applicant, George Wallner, is requesting Design Review Approval
for the installation of a metal tile roofing system to an existing single
family home.

2. Previously Continued Projects
a. DRB File No. 21457, 1766 Bay Road – Ouzo’s Greek Taberna & Bar.
The applicant, Ouzo’s Greek Taberna & Bar, is requesting ‘After-the-
Fact’ Design Review Approval for the installation of decorative pavers
and an outdoor seating area, within existing public right-of-way.

3. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 21559, 7275 Collins Avenue – Unidad of Miami Beach
Senior Center. The applicant, Unidad of Miami Beach is requesting
Design Review Approval for the construction of a new 2-story community
center which will replace an existing single story structure, to be
demolished.

b. DRB File No. 21260, 1053-1109 71st Street – Everglades Concourse.
The applicant, Jerika Properties, is requesting Design Review Approval
for the construction of a new 5-story mixed-use project which will replace
an existing single story structure and parking lot, to be demolished.
APPROVED
