I. REQUSTS FOR CONTINUANCES
1. DRB File No. 20427, 2700 Sheridan Avenue – Scott Rakow Youth Center. The
applicant, the City of Miami Beach, is requesting Design Review approval for the
partial renovation of the existing structure, including the construction of a new single
story entrance addition and new single story golf starter structure, new parking lot,
and new outdoor play area.
Continued to July 3, 2007
II. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. DRB File No. 18796, 7135 Byron Avenue – The Lotus Apartments. The
applicant, Maxson Investments, L.L.C., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of
Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 5-story multifamily building on a vacant
lot.

2. DRB File No. 18869, Block 51, 801-863 South Pointe Drive, 818-842 Commerce
Street. The applicant, TRG-Alaska III, L.L.C., is requesting a one (1) year
Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design
Review Approval for the construction of a new 7-story mixed-use project on a
vacant lot.

III. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Previously Continued Matters
a. DRB File No. 20426, 625 47th Street – Single Family Residence. The
applicant, Jose Escalante, is requesting Design Review approval for
modifications to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant 2-story
home, including the construction of a new single story addition and a
new 2-story addition.

b. DRB File No. 20180, 415 East Dilido Drive – Single Family Home. The
applicant, Hector Sicre, is requesting Design Review Approval for the
construction of a new 2-story home, which will replace an existing pre-
1942 architecturally significant 2-story home, to be demolished.

c. DRB File No. 20181, 1100 West Avenue – Mondrian South Beach
a.k.a. Mirador. The applicant, 1100 West Properties, L.L.C., is
requesting Design Review Approval for a new landscape plan for the
entire site, as well as for alterations to the existing exterior elevations,
including modifications to the windows, doors, and porte-cochere, and
the construction of new 2-story cabanas at the rear of the site.

2. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 20571, 1721-1755 Meridian Avenue – Miami Beach Multi-
Purpose Municipal Parking Facility. The applicant, the City of Miami
Beach, is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of a
multi-purpose municipal facility with ground level commercial space, 5
levels of office space and 7 levels of parking spaces, on an existing,
grade level municipal parking lot.

b. DRB File No. 20485, 1398 Bay Drive – Single Family Home. The
applicants, John and Alison Kunkel, are requesting Design Review
approval for modifications to an existing pre-1942 architecturally
significant 2-story home, including the construction of two (2) new
second floor additions to the existing single-story portions of the home.

c. DRB File No. 20484, 930 West 41st Street – Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The applicant, 930 W 41st Street, L.L.C., is requesting Design Review
approval for façade alterations to the existing single story structure.

d. DRB File No. 19697, 6900-6924 Collins Avenue, 201-239 69th Street,
6901-6925 Harding Avenue – Canyon Ranch West. The applicant,
Komoko Corp., is requesting Design Review Approval for the
construction of a new 5-story mixed-use, residential/retail/convention
center development, which will replace the existing single story structure,
to be demolished.

applicant, Justin Gould, is requesting Design Review Approval for
modifications to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant 2-story
home, including the partial demolition of the existing home, and the
construction of a new 2-story ground level addition.

f. DRB File No. 20572, 50 North Hibiscus Drive – Single Family Home.
The applicant, Brad Meltzer, is requesting Design Review Approval for
modifications to an existing pre-1942 architecturally significant 2-story
home, including the partial demolition of the existing home, and the
construction of two (2) new second floor additions.
