I. REQUESTS FOR EXTENSIONS OF TIME
1. DRB File No. 17640, 165-185 South Shore Drive – Linx. The applicant, The Lofts
of Linx, L.L.C, is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Full
Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for the
construction of a 4-story multifamily building, which will replace two single story
buildings, to be demolished.
APPROVED
2. DRB File No. 17716, 1445 & 1470 16th Street, 1491 & 1492 Lincoln Terrace –
Lincoln Bay. The applicant, Mae Capri, L.L.C., is requesting a one (1) year
Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design
Review Approval for a new multifamily development, consisting of the restoration
of 1491 Lincoln Terrace, the demolition of three (3) 2-story buildings, and the
construction of one 14-story building, and one 6-story building.

3. DRB File No. 17832, 1031 4th Street - FPL Alton Substation. The applicant, Florida
Power and Light Co., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a
Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for the
construction of an enclosed electrical distribution substation with a maximum
height of fifty (50’) feet, which will replace an existing single story single family
structure, to be demolished.

4. DRB File No. 18081, 8021 Harding Avenue. The applicant, Italbuilding, Inc., is
requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Full Building Permit for a
previously issued Design Review Approval for the construction of a new 4-story
multifamily building, which will replace an existing single story home, to be
demolished.

5. DRB File No. 17667, 501 Alton Road – 5th and Alton Shopping Center. The
applicant, AR & J Sobe, L.L.C., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to
obtain a Full Building Permit for a previously issued Design Review Approval for

the demolition of two (2) existing one (1) and two (2) story buildings, the partial
demolition of one (1) two (2) story building, and the construction of a vertical
retail center encompassing an entire city block, including three (3) levels of retail
integrated into a seven (7) story parking garage.

1. Discussion: Proposed Masterplan for Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

III. SINGLE FAMILY HOME REQUESTS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. DRB File No. 18955, 5410 North Bay Road – Single Family Home. The
applicants, Christine and Mark Tobin, are requesting Design Review Approval
for the construction of roof-top additions over portions of the existing
architecturally significant pre-1942 single family home.

IV. APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL
1. Previously Continued Matters
a. DRB File No. 18776, South Pointe Park Improvement Project. The
applicant, the City of Miami Beach, is requesting Design Review
Approval for the substantial redesign of South Pointe Park.

b. DRB File No. 18869, Block 51, 801-863 South Pointe Drive, 818-842
Commerce Street. The applicant, TRG-Alaska III, L.L.C., is requesting
Design Review Approval for the construction of a new 7-story mixed-use
project on a vacant lot.

2. New Projects
a. DRB File No. 18943, 6881 Indian Creek Drive – Enclave at North Beach.
The applicant, Devon Apartments, Inc., is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 4-story townhome project, which
will replace one 2-story building, to be demolished.

b. DRB File No. 18953, 740-750 83rd Street – Christo Townhomes. The
applicants, Duncan Ross & Peter Reid, are requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a new 4-story towhnhome project, which
will replace two (2) single story apartment buildings, to be demolished.

c. DRB File No. 18954, 8505-8521 Harding Avenue – Atlantic Lofts. The
applicant, Lofts at Atlantic L.L.C., is requesting Design Review Approval
for the construction of a new 5-story multifamily building, which will
replace two (2) 2-story buildings, to be demolished.

d. DRB File No. 18988, “Block 1”, 2-30 & 46-64 Ocean Drive, 1-35 & 69
Collins Avenue – The applicant, TRG-Block One, Ltd, is requesting
Design Review Approval for the construction of a new condo-hotel
complex with two (2) 7-story buildings on vacant lots.
