1.Requests for Continuances
There were no requests for continuances.
2.Discussion: Revised drawings and renderings submitted at the Public Hearing.
Staff is to prepare an amendment to By-Laws.
3.Extensions of Time
a.DRB File No. 12763, 250 West 63rd Street - AQUA on Allison Island.
The applicant, 63rd Street Associates, Ltd., is requesting a one (1) year
Extension of Time to obtain a Building Permit for a previously issued Design
Review Approval for a new multi-family development community
consisting of the demolition of three (3) existing structures, the
renovation of the existing Morris Tower and conversion to residential
use, the construction of 47, three (3) and four (4) story townhomes on
the south, west and north sides of the site, the construction of a twelve
(12) story, 62 unit structure on the east side of the site and the
construction of an eleven (11) story structure on the east side of the
site.
APPROVED: One (1) year.
b.DRB File No. 12887, 1901 Convention Center Drive - Miami Beach Convention
Center. The applicant, The City of Miami Beach, is requesting a one (1) year
Extension of Time to obtain a Building Permit for a previously issued Design
Review approval for a comprehensive signage program for the convention
center, inclusive of a new freestanding pylon sign and electronic wall sign.
APPROVED: One (1) year.

1.DRB File No. 14133, 6700 Collins Avenue - Walgreens. The applicant,
Walgreens Co., is requesting Design Review Approval for the demolition
and reconstruction of a portion of an existing one-story retail structure.
CONTINUED : To 6-19-01.
2.DRB File No. 14134, 901 West 41st Street - Colonial Bank . The
applicant, Block 41st Street, Inc., is requesting Design Review Approval
for the construction of drive-thru tellers.
APPROVED
3.DRB File No. 14135, 6343 - 6363 Indian Creek Drive; Casablanca Villas.
The applicant, Casablanca Villas, LLC, is requesting Design Review
Approval for the construction of a six (6) story, 43 unit condominium.
CONTINUED : To 7-17-01.
New Projects
1.DRB File No. 14437, 6500 Indian Creek Drive - Miami Beach Watersports
Center. The applicant, Miami Beach Watersports Center, Inc., is
requesting Design Review Approval for a one (1) story, roof-top addition
to an existing rowing center, as well as a one (1) story detached
structure.
