"Eeximum heights at Miami,Niemi Beech, end other vicinities a.djacent
to Biscayne Bey were t~ken subseouent1y from m"rks on buildings,
both inside 2nd outside of the buildings.Maximum height of tide
Engineer Reservation,6.7 feet.
City of Uiemi Bpach 2nd vicinity: The~e were t"ken under the
direction of Mr. Ed.R.Neff,City Engineer. It W8.8 found that the
e1ev,tion on the beech veried from 2 mpximum of 10.51 feet on the
north and south ridge e10ng the ocepn front to a maximum of 6.35
feet along the bey shore These elevations a%e referred to Bench
rrrk No.6 U.S. Engineer Deuertment,on our reservation.The differences
in elevation between the ocean and bay is observed at verious
locations in the City of Niami Berch".
