An Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, changing names and numbers of cert"in streets shown on
those certain plats recorded in Plat Book 2, page 38, Plat Book 3, page 11, Plat Book 2, page 56, Plat Book 4, page
83, Plat Book 2, page 77, Plat Book 2, page 81, Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8, Plat Bopk 4, page SO, Plat Baal, !" page
77, Plat Book 3, page 11, Plat Book 7, page 48 and Plat Book 6, page 34 (of the Public Records in the Office of the
Clerk of Circuit Court of Dade County, Florida,)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
Section 1. That that certain street, boulevard or highway shown and designated as Atlantic Boulevard on those
certain plats of Ocean Beach Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 38; Ocean Beach Addition No, I, recorded
in Plat Book 3, page 11; Ocean Beach Addition No, 2, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 56; Friedman & Copes Subdi-
vision recorded in Plat Book 4, page 83, and Fisher's 1st Subdivision of Alton Beach, recorded in Plat Book 2, page
77, which Plat Books are matters of public record in office of the Clerk of Circuit Court of Dade Count.y, Florida, b....
and the same are chang~d in name and shall hereafter be known as Collins A venue,
Section 2. That those certain streets, avenues or highways shown on Plat of Fisber's 1st Subdivision of Alton
Beach, which is recorded in Plat Book 2, page 77, of Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and which are designat-
ed D, C, B. and A, are hereby changed in name and shall hereafter be known as 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th Street_, re-
spectively,
Section 3, That those certain highways, shown on a Plat of Ocean Beach Addition No, 3, which is recorded in
Plat Book 2, page 81 of the Public Records of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dade County, Florida, and which are
designated as Lemon, Banana, Orange, Pine, Palm, Mango and Pear Avenues, are hereby changed in name and shall
hereafter be known as Drexel, Pennsylvania, Euclid, Meridian, Jefferson, Michigan and Lenox Avenues, respectively,
Section 4, That those certain streets and avenues or highways shown on amended map of Ocean Front property
of Miami Beach Improvement Company, which map is recorded in Plat Book 5, page 7, of the public record3 in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dade County, Florida and designated as Gulf Stream Avenue, Park Ave-
nue, Ocean Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Hotel Place, 1st, 2nd,3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th,
15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, South Street and Palm Avenue, are hereby changed in name and shall hereafter be
known and designated as 20th to 43rd Avenues; Sheridan Avenue and Liberty Avenue, respectively,
Section 5, Those certain Streets, Avenues or Highways shown on a plat of Fair Green as per Plat Book 4,
page 80 and designated as North Golf Drive, Travers Avenue, Grove Avenue, East Golf Drive and Ridge Road, be
and the same are hereb,' changed in name and shall hereafter be known and designated as West 28th Street, West
29th Street, West 30th Street, Sheridan Avenue and Prairie Avenue, respectively.
Section 6. That certain avenue shown and designated as Miami Avenue of Plat of South Beach Park, recorded
in Plat Book 6, page 77 on Plat of Ocean Beach Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 38, on plat of Ocean
Beach Addition No, I, recorded in Plat Book 3, page 11 and on plat of Ocean Beach Addition No.2, recorded in Plat
Book 2, page 56, on Plat of Ocean Beach Addition No, 3, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 81, on Plat of Friedman &
Cope's Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 4, page 83; on plat of Fisher's 1st Subdivision of Alton Beach, recorded in
Plat Book 2, page 77, on plat of Pine Ridge Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 6, page 34, on Plat of Ocean Front
Property of Miami Beach Improvement Company, recorded in Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8 and on plat of Subdivision
of Block 50 of Ocean Beach Addition No, 3, recorded in Plat Book 7, page 48, which plat books are matters of public
record in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dade County, Florida, be and the same is hereby changed in
name and shall hereafter be known as Washington Avenue,
Section 7, All persons, firms or corporations owning property or residing upon any of the foregoing streets as
renamed or designated herein are hereby required to observe the provisions of this ordinance in designating or num-
bering residences or posting signs or markers which may designate any of the foregoing streets.
Section 8, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conllict herewith are hereby repealed,
