A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 157 JEFFERSON AVENUE, MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ACQUIRED IN LIEU OF EMINENT DOMAIN
PROCEEDINGS TO BE INSTITUTED BY THE MIAMI
BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, FOR PUBLIC USE.
WHEREAS, on December 30, 1988, the Miami Beach Redevelopment
Agency acquired the following described property for public use:
The West 46 feet 8 inches of Lot 10, Block 78
OCEAN BEACH, FLORIDA, ADDITION NO. 3,
according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 2, Page 81, of the Public Record of
Dade County, Florida.
Also known as 157 Jefferson Avenue, Miami Beach,
Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MIAMI BEACH
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, that the MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of date of
acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to Florida
Statutes, Section 196.28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY that a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its County Manager, its
Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of February , 19 89 .
