16-83 RDARESOLUTION NO. 16-83 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY SUBMITTING PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE SOUTH SHORE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TO THE CITY COMMISSION FOR A "SUBSTANTIAL DEVIATION DETERMINATION" PURSUANT TO THE FLORIDA ENVIRONMENTAL LAND & WATER MANAGEMENT ACT OF 1972, FLA. STAT. ~380.06 (17) (a), FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING APPROPRIATE CHANGES TO THE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED DEVELOPMENT ORDER. WHEREAS, the South Shore Redevelopment Plan was prepared and adopted by the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency; and WHEREAS, an Application for Development Approval for a Development of Regional Impact for such Plan was submitted to the State of Florida, Department of Administration, Division of State Planning on March 28, 1978; and WHEREAS, the State approved the prior Application; and WHEREAS, after proper notice and public hearing, the City Commission granted a development order on said prior Application; and WHEREAS, on January 17, 1983, the Agency and the City authorized the preparation of a revised and amended South Shore Redevelopment Plan based upon policies and guidelines as set forth in City Resolution No. 82-17222; and WHEREAS, a revised and amended South Shore Redevelopment Plan has been submitted and presented to the Agency pursuant to the above-cited authorization and guidelines; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY: that, pursuant to Fla. Stat. ~380.06(17)(a) setting forth the procedure for proposed changes to a development of regional impact previously approved, the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency (the developer) hereby submits the revised and amended South Shore Redevelopment Plan to the City Commission (local government) for review of the proposed changes for the express purpose of determining whether such changes are "substantial deviations," pursuant to the criteria as set forth in S380.06(17). 1983.
