On Monday, January 3, 2005, the City's Transportation and Parking Committee (TPC)
convened at their customary monthly meeting time. Unfortunately, the meeting time, date,
and location was inadvertently not publicly advertised. The person responsible was acting
in an interim capacity and was not aware that the meeting had not been advertised.
This advertising oversight is being corrected and actions taken to avoid another such
incident. To correct the immediate problem a special meeting ofthe TPC will be held and
all actions taken by the TPC Committee on January 3, 2005 are null and void. A special
meeting of the TPC is scheduled for Monday, January 31,2005, to hearthe items from the
January 3, 2005 meeting. To address any reoccurrence, the employee now responsible
for the committee staff support will attend training coordinated by the City Clerk's Office in
order to be fully versed on the matter and notice requirements, and all TPC meetings for
the 2005 calendar year have been scheduled and sent to the meeting notice web address.
