SUBJECT: HOLIDAY COURTESY NOTICE (PARKING ENFORCEMENT)
In keeping with the holiday spirit, the Administration will once again provide a one (1)
hour grace period at expired parking meters. Parking enforcement specialists will honor a
one hour grace period for vehicles parked at expired parking meters. The vehicle
operator will be advised of this courtesy vis-a-vis a holiday courtesy notice (see attached)
that will be placed on their windshield in lieu of a parking citation. The holiday courtesy
notices will be issued December 19-26, 2005.
This courtesy will be extended to all on-street and off-street metered parking spaces;
however, it does not apply to restricted (loading zones, disabled, etc.) or prohibited (fire
hydrants, crosswalks, etc.) parking areas. If you have any questions or need any
