SUBJECT: Captain Angel Vazquez- Graduation from FBI Academy
This Letter to the Commission is to advise the Mayor and City Commission that Captain Angel
Vazquez of the Miami Beach Police Department has graduated from the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) National Academy, class number 223, on December 16, 2005.
The FBI National Academy is an intensive three month course that is conducted at the FBI's
National Training Center in Quantico, Virginia and is one of the most prestigious law
enforcement management schools in the world.
Captain Vazquez is a seventeen year veteran of the Miami Beach Police Department. He is
currently assigned to the Patrol Division and is the Commander of the Middle District.
Please join me in congratulating Captain Vazquez on his graduation from the FBI National
Academy. We all wish him continued success with the Police Department.
