RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS WITH MUNICIPALITIES FOR
ENFORCEMENT OF PENALTIES CONTAINED IN CHAPTER $CC
OF THE CODE OF MI6MI-DADE'COUNTY RELATING TO FOR-HIRE
TRANSPORTATION REGULATIONS; AND TO EXERCISE
CANCELLATION AND RENEWAL PROVISIONS
WHEREAS, this Board desires to accomplish 'the purpose outlined in the accompanying
memorandum, a copy of Which is incorporated herein by reference,

County Manager to execute on behalf of Miami-Dade County inierlocal agreements with all
municipalities in Miami-Dade County, in substantially the form attached to this resolution, that ,
authorize mun?ipalities to enforce the penalties contained in Chapter 8CC Of~e...Code of
Miami-Dade County relating to enforcement of for-hire Iranspormtion regulations'contained in
'Chapter 4, Article III, Section 30-371 - 372.2 and Chapter 31; and authorizes the County
Manager to exercise cancellation and renewal provisions contained therein.
The foregoing resolution was sponsored by Commissioner l~d~, ~ , who moved
its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner-rUbY L. ltxales and upon being put to
a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Chairperson thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 15th day of
December, 1998. This resolution shall become effective ten (10) days after the date of its adoption
unless vetoed by the Mayor, and if vetoed, shall become effe~ve only upon an override by this
