ROBERT G. CURRIE PARTNERSHIP
Firm Profile
Robert G. Currie & Partnership (RGCP) is a Florida-based architectural design
firm, founded in 1969. Founding principal Robert G. Currie, AlA, has made a
conscious decision to maintain a small firm, believing that his direct and
personal involvement in all projects better serves his clients. Recent projects
include numerous retail, commercial, hospitality and residential master planning
and completed architectural assignments.
Much of the firm's success can be attributed to a deeply felt commitment to
create designs that intrigue the intellect, enhance the spirit, and delight the
eye. RGCP's approach is to view each project with a fresh attitude, without
preconceived ideas, and focused on finding a clear and balanced relationship
between the building, its site and context, and its interior spaces. Each design,
whether new construction or renovation, evolves from a thorough site analysis
and program evaluation; the project's form and character reflects this process.
Since its inception the firm has worked with municipalities throughout the
State of Florida including the Department of Management Services, City of
Deland, City of Delray Beach, City of Boca Raton, City of Boynton Beach, City
of Miami Beach, Town of Palm Beach, Village of Key Biscayne, Palm Beach
County, Monroe County and the Department of Transportation.
RGCP produces all architectural drawings on AutoCad 14. The firm's CADD
department consists of seven networked workstations linked to a full size
plotter, two full-color printers and a laser jet printer. Additional capabilities
include scanning, e-mail and production of CDs for information and storage.

ANALYSIS (continued)
The firm will be responsible for obtaining all Federal, State and local permits necessary for the
construction of the project, and may also be required to provide consulting services to the City on
various matters which do not result in drawings or specifications.
The design will be developed with the input of the City Administration, the various City Boards ani
Committees, as well as area residents and other interested individuals and groups.
The design team for this project will be headed by an Architect/Engineer with considerable historic
