AMENDMENT TO BELLSOUTH BUSINESSsM MASTER AGREEMENT FOR
REGULATED SERVICES AND VOLUME & TERM AGREEMENT
This Amendment is to the BellSouth Business Master Agreement for Regulated Services and Volume & Term
Agreement (''Volume & Term Agreement") FL03-E591-10, entered into between BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. by
BellSouth Business Systems, Inc. ("BST") and City of Miami Beach ("Customer') on February 27,2004.
A. The purpose of this Amendment is to clarify Section 7.1 and Section 7.3 of the Agreement.
B. Section 7.1 as follows;
"7.1 Customer and BST agree to an Annual Revenue Commitment in the first Contract Year of this Agreement
of $685,000.00. The Annual Revenue Commitment represents one hundred percent (100%) of Customer's Baseline
billing."
shall be replaced in its entirety with:
"7.1 Customer and BST agree to an Annual Revenue Commitment in the first Contract Year of this Agreement
of $685,000.00. The Annual Revenue Commitment represents eighty six percent (86%) of Customer's Baseline
billing."
C. Section 7.3 as follows;
"7.3 Customer and BST agree to determine Customer's Annual Revenue Commitment at the beginning of each
Contract Year. The Annual Revenue Commitment for each Contract Year will be expressed as one hundred percent
(100%) of the Baseline billing for the Contract Year."
shall be replaced in its entirety with:
"7.3 Customer and BST agree to determine Customer's Annual Revenue Commitment at the beginning of each
Contract Year. The Annual Revenue Commitment for each Contract Year will be expressed as eighty six percent
(86%) of the Baseline billing for the Contract Year."
D. Customer and BST agree that the clarifications to Section 7.1 and Section 7.3 shall be deemed to have been
effective upon the original execution of this agreement.
Exc~pt for t,tJe/lgoi9.~he remaining terms and conditions of the BellSouth Business Master Agreement for Regulated
Services and Vo ume Ter Agreement remain fully executable between BST and Customer.

I had given you a hard copy of this document a while back. Bellsouth want to correct our contract
since it benefits the City. Let me know what you think. As you can see below, they are looking for a
response.

attorneys. I'm now being asked what ever happened with this. Have your attorneys had a chance to review the suggested
