Department.

Safe Night of Fright - Children and adults of all ages are welcomed to join the fun at the
annual Halloween - Safe Night of Fright. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 31,
2006 at the North Shore Park Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue from 6 - 8pm. Ghouls and
goblins will enjoy a safe night of trick-or-treating, entertainment, refreshments, photos and
much more. In addition, there will be displays and booths on crime prevention presented by
the City of Miami Beach Police Department.
Movie in the Park - Our next show will be on Friday, November 3Td; at Flamingo Park, 13th
Street and Meridian Avenue at 6 p.m. There will be free popcorn and refreshments are
available for sale. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the show! Movie "Over the
Hedge" rated PG13.
Autumn Fair - The Autumn season marks a time when families can enjoy the changes of
nature and celebrate the holidays and events that come along with it. North Shore Park
Youth Center, 501 nnd street, will entertain the Miami Beach community on Thursday,
November 9th, 2006 from 6:00 - 8:00pm with its first annual Autumn Fun Fair. Dance
performances, games, food, music, and arts & crafts exhibits, are some of the many
activities that will be available for the enjoyment of all.
Multicultural Night- On Friday, November 3,2006 North Shore Park Youth Center, 501
72nd street, will host its 2nd annual Multi-Cultural Night from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in efforts to
continue raising awareness of the various cultural differences that exist in our world today.
Children from the City of Miami Beach's after school programs and members of the senior's
program will perform dances to various types of cultural music. Artwork, music, and a variety
of foods from different nations will also be available for the enjoyment of all. Be a part of the
educational experience as the Parks and Recreation Department and Miami Beach
residents come together to celebrate cultural diversity.
