I am very pleased to inform you that on May 6th, 2000, at the Building Owners and Managers

the City' s Property Management Director, Brad A. Judd, received the BOMA International Southern
P, egion's "Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award" for the best managed Historical Building in
the Southeastern United States.
The Southern Regional "TOBY" Awards is a competition for Buildings that have already won the
"TOBY" Award at the local level. The Southern region includes all of Georgia, Alabama, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Florida. Of
the eleven categories for buildings, only two awards were given to South Florida buildings. One
award went to the Beacon Center in Miami for the Suburban Office Park Category and the second
award went to the Miami Beach Historic City Hall Building for the Historical Category.
In winning this award, the Historic City Hall Building is automatically entered in the National

regional award winners, across the United States. The National "TOBY" Awards will be awarded
at the annual Building Owners and Managers Association's National Conference in San Diego,

In winning the Regional award, the Historic City Hall Building is now recognized as one of the six
best managed Historic buildings in the United States. Congratulations to Brad and the Property
Management staff for this prestigious award.
