Gonzalez, City Manage DATE: June 4, 2007 SUBJECT: Retirement of Brad Judd, former Property Management Director, Public Works Department The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to inform you of the resignation/ retirement of Brad Judd, former Property Management Director, Public Works Department. Mr. Judd was employed by the City of Miami Beach for 15 years and in his capacity as Property Management Director, completed many construction and renovation projects for the City and was responsible for the maintenance and repair of all City Buildings and facilities. I know you join me in wishing him good luck and much happiness in his retirement. Mr. Robert Halfhill, Assistant Public Works Director, has been reassigned as the interim Property Management Director. Mr. Halfhill has over 15 years experience in Public Works Management which includes 6 years as a Public Works Director. Construction permits have been transferred to Mr. Michael Alvarez, Assistant Public Works Director. Mr. Alvarez is a licensed General Contractor with over 25 years construction management experience.
