Valet parking service is not available at the Coconut Grove
Exhibition Center,
A wide disparity in the time for parking at convention center
operations occurs as compared to performing arts locations,
Convent~on attenders routinely attend functions in excess of five
hours, while those attending performing arts functions normally
require parking for shorter durations. Therefore, convention
center valet rates are generally higher,
CONCLUSION:
Based on the survey of valet parking fees at comparable facilities
in the Greater Miami area performed by the Concessionaire and
confirmed by the Administration, it is recommended that the City
Commission approve a resolution increasing valet parking fees from
$6.00 to $7,00.
