A RESOLUTION OF THE MA YORAND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF FIVE (5) SURPLUS
BICYCLES, WITH A COMBINED ESTIMATED VALUE OF APPROXIMATELY $275.00,
FROM THE MIAMI BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO THE MIAMI BEACH POLICE
ATHLETIC LEAGUE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Police Department has five (5) surplus police bicycles that
are no longer in service; and
WHEREAS, the surplus police bicycles are each more than five years old, and are described
as:

WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Police Department wishes to donate these surplus bicycles
to the Miami Beach Police Athletic League.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission herein authorize the donation of five (5) surplus bicycles, with a combined estimated
value of approximately $275.00, from the Miami Beach Police Department, to the Miami Beach
Police Athletic League.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 29th day of November

The Police Department requests to donate these surplus bicycles to the Miami Beach Police Athletic
League.
These surplus bicycles are each more than five years old and have been taken out of service by the
Police Department.
It is recommended that the Mayor and City Commission adopt this Resolution and authorize the
donation ofthese surplus bicycles to the Miami Beach Police Athletic League.
