HOLIDAY COURTESY [NOTICE] AT PARKING METERS
SUBJECT:
In the spirit of the holiday season, the City of Miami Beach Parking Department is continuing its
annual promotion of goodwill to the community in the form of a one (1) hour grace period for
vehicles parked at expired parking meters. Vehicles parked at expired parking meters will
receive a one (I) hour extension from the time the meter was found to be in violation; however,
after the one (1) period, the vehicle is eligible to be cited,
A courtesy notice (see attached) will be issued and placed on the vehicle's windshield advising
the operator of said courtesy. The notice will provide a brief message explaining the goodwill
gesture and all notices will be tracked by date, time, license plate number, and officer name.
