Robert -
This is the first time I have seen this covenant. I don't know why it was applied for when a fulllstandard tax
property tax exemption from the County was available. It appears someone in the former Manager's office
08/20/2007

applied far County HP ad valorem tax exemption without our (Planning's) knowledge and then realized it wasn't
necessary.

In speaking with the County your name came up as someone who could possibly shed some light on this matter.
The County states that the referenced Covenant was rescinded (not sure by who) and never executed.
Instead, the County gave the City a fulllstandard property tax exemption on the property.
Any recollection as to what happened?

Mr. Ferrer:
Mr. Ivan Rodriguez suggested I contact you regarding the attached Miami Dade County Historic Preservation Tax
Exemption Covenant. The City is interested in obtaining a fully executed copy for our files. It was suggested that
you might know where to find such a copy or at best point me in the right direction.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience to further discuss this matter. My direct number is 305-673-7000,
ext. 6443.
Thanks.
