A community workshop will be held to receive input from residents regarding future uses of the 10th Street
Auditorium and Beach Patrol Headquarters located in historic Lummus Park. Workshop participants will be
asked to answer the following questions:

What are the best future uses of the 10th Street Auditorium?
How should the 10th Street Auditorium and Beach Patrol Headquarters relate to the
center of historic Lummus Park?

The workshop has been publicized in the following manner: flyers distributed to residents and businesses in
the area (Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue), published as part of City calendar, included in
the City's web page, and advertised in the MIAMI HERALD Neighbors section and a Spanish language
newspaper. The Media Relations Director will prepare a press release regarding the workshop and distribute
it to the local media.
Members of the City Commission, General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee and Historic Preservation
Board are invited to attend the workshop.
