Gonzalez, City Manager ;~ DATE: January 8, 2008 ~, SUBJECT: PROPOSED EVALUATION COMIb(ITTEE FOR THE JOB CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY RFP NO. 05-07/08 The purpose of this Letter to the Commission is to update the Mayor and the City Commission on the RFP for the Job Classification and Compensation Study. The RFP submittals were due and received on December 7, 2007. The City received eight responses. I am considering appointing the following to the evaluation committee: 1. Corrine Brody Prewitt -Former Special Assistant for Strategic Management and Human Resources, Miami Dade County 2. Margarita Cepeda -Executive Director, One Stop Career Center 3. Larry Herrup -Certified Public Accountant 4. Kathie Brooks -Director, Office of Budget and Performance Improvement 5. Ramiro Inguanzo, Director, Human Resources Department 6. One (1) representative from the Personnel Board (to be selected by Personnel Board at their January 2008 meeting) 7. One (1) representative from the Budget Advisory Committee (to be selected by BAC at their January 2008 meeting) Alternates: 1. Diane Downs, Former Chair, Personnel Board 2. Robert Da Torre, Executive Director, Miami Beach Development Corporation 3.
