Chief Yuhr has been with the City of Miami Beach Fire Department for over 20 years
beginning as a Firefighter in 1987. He has been promoted several times throughout his
career and has served as a Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain,

Chief Yuhr has made many contributions to this organization throughout his tenure with
the Miami Beach Fire Department. Some of Chief Yuhr's significant accomplishments
include the development of the Florida Urban Search and Rescue Type II Team for the
Miami Beach Fire Department; the configuration and implementation of the Telestaff

Please join me in congratulating Chief Yuhr. I know you will find him to be as competent
