From: Beckmann, Fred Sent: Monday, June 16, 2008 5:11 PM To: Brooks, Kathie Cc: Middaugh, Bob Subject: HISTORIC CITY HALL Kathie, As discussed, after we terminated the interior finishing contractor at Historic City Hall; the replacement contractor cannot perform the remaining work for the amount left in the contract. We need additional $53,000 to continue the planned work and I would like to reserve another $70,000 because in my experience when we start the final inspection, especially with Fire, we'll have additional request that were not planned and/or new requests. The Manager also asked that we reserve $25,220 for the Court's re-opening in Miami Beach. Can you ask Jose to increase the project budget by $148,220 from Renewal and Replacement contingency funding?
