I met with Ramiro and Sue today regarding the City's Service Agreement with Humana, pursuant to selection of
Humana as the top ranked health (medical} proposer pursuant to Request for Proposals No. 19.05116 for the City's
Health (Medical) and Dental insurance plans (and the above referenced Resolution}.
While the Resolution referenced above omitted the term of fhe contract, the RFP was clear that that the intent was
to allow the City the option of exercising its agreement with the successful health provider (in this case, Humana) on

an annual basis (from January 1st through December 31st) ,with an initial one year term and three (3) renewals of
one year each, exercisable at the City's option. If the Resolution approving the award is read consistent with the
intent of the RFP (which I believe is what was intended by the drakers of the Reso.), then no fulYher action would be
required by the City Commission in order for the City to exercise any of the subsequent one year option terms.
