Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the Miami Beach Convention Center
--Join Mayor Philip Levine, Miami Beach city staff and Clark Construction team on a walk-
through of the renovation and expansion project of this state-of-the-art LEED certified facility --
WHAT/WHO: The incredible transformation of the Miami Beach Convention Center is
now over 50 percent complete. This upcoming Tuesday, August 1, 2017
join Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, Project Director of the Convention
Center District Maria Hernandez and Clark Construction Group
Construction Executive Christopher Cronin for the unique opportunity to
tour the construction area.
Highlights of the visit will include the 60,000 square foot Carl Fisher
Grand Ballroom, the Outdoor Terrace area and second level view
featuring the Historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse. The Miami Beach
Convention Center is scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2018.
WHEN: Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Meeting point will be at 1800 Convention Center Drive – Hill International
Trailer (the first trailer after going through security).
Recommended parking is at Miami Beach City Hall.
Please note, proper dress code will be enforced: Long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes and
no sleeveless shirts to enter the construction zone. No shorts, dresses or skirts will be
permitted. Protective equipment (hard hats, safety vests, gloves and goggles) are required and
will be provided.
