An extension of the City of Miami Beach website, the sleek and user-friendly page features detailed sections on the city’s storm water program, land use and development regulations, provides sustainable transportation options, and expands on conservation and efficiency resources for residents and businesses. “The topic of sustainability and resiliency can sometimes be overwhelming and obscure,” expressed Director of Environmental and Sustainability Elizabeth Wheaton. “We wanted to change that experience and create one, dedicated place where residents and the greater community can easily access and utilize vital information to truly understand the city’s efforts—and more importantly, help address and adapt to climate change alongside us.” In an effort to reflect the city’s most recent endeavors, the page will consistently be updated with the latest information, resources and tools.
