The Committee would like to recognize four women working in the healthcare industry, and the deadline to receive nominations is Friday, January 26, 2018. Nominees shall have worked and provided exemplary service in the healthcare industry in Miami Beach for a minimum of five consecutive years. They need not to have worked in the same healthcare facility for all five years, but must have worked in Miami Beach during that timeframe. The Miami Beach Commission for Women serves as an advisory capacity to the City of Miami Beach Commission, and their purpose is to support efforts for economic, political, and social equality and opportunity for all women — with a special emphasis on the needs of women on Miami Beach. An awards ceremony for the Women Worth Knowing will be held in March 2018 during Women’s History Month’s Miami Beach Women’s Conference. Nomination forms are available by clicking here.
