Due to similar programming taking place on Wednesdays in neighboring cities, the popular community event will now occur on the fourth Thursday of each month from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. beginning on Thursday, June 28. “With additional programming in the works, this change comes at an opportune time as we work on branding and revitalizing the North Beach neighborhood,” noted Mayor Dan Gelber. “We hope the date change will attract a larger group of residents and visitors, and remain a Miami Beach staple event.” Since its inception in 2012, the Food Truck and Music Fest has provided a wonderful place for families and friends to enjoy free, live entertainment and cuisine from around the world. The ideal date night or family dinner, the monthly series has stimulated the local neighborhood and created a more family-oriented atmosphere.
