Media Availability: Mayor Gimenez and Mayor Gelber to take questions about
visit with Democratic National Committee
The mayors return to Miami this evening following their 2020 convention presentation to the DNC
Miami Beach, FL – Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, City of Miami Mayor Francis
Suarez and City of Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber have concluded their presentation to the
Democratic National Committee regarding the possibility of hosting the 2020 Democratic National
Convention in South Florida.
Mayor Gimenez and Mayor Gelber will return from Washington, D.C., this evening.
Upon arrival at Miami International Airport, the mayors will be available briefly to answer questions from
the media.
