Event: University of Miami Fun Day
Date: Saturday, February 2, 2019
Time: 10:00 a.m. —3:00 p.m.
Location: University of Miami (1320 S Dixie Highway)
Participants in our Special Abilities Program will join the University of Miami as they host
an annual day of giving. Students from the university pair with individuals with disabilities
for a fun-filled day of activities.
Event: Valentine's Day Party
Date: Saturday, February 16, 2019
Time: 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Location: North Shore Park Youth Center(501 72nd Street)
Participants in the Special Abilities Program will enjoy an afternoon filled with love, fun
and food.
Event: Movie in the Park
Date: Friday, February 22, 2019
Time: 6:30 p.m. —9:30 p.m.
Location: South Pointe Park (1 Washington Avenue)
Enjoy a fun night under the stars watching the box office hit "Wonder". Admission and
popcorn is free, and refreshments will be available for purchase. Don't forget to bring your
blanket!
Event: Black History Night Celebration
Date: Thursday, February 28, 2019
Time: 6:30 p.m. —8:00 p.m.
Locations: North Shore Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue)
The City of Miami Beach invites you to join us in observing Black History Month by
celebrating African American heritage, accomplishments and culture. Come and enjoy
performances from the City's after-school participants and special guests. Admission is
free, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
