Morales, City Manager DATE: January 17, 2019 SUBJECT: Motions by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to transmit the following motions approved by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee at its January 15, 2019 meeting. The following motion made by Mr. Matthew Land, seconded by Ms. Allison Stone and approved unanimously by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee: 1. The Committee recommends that the Mayor and City Commission actively seek to fill the vacant Committee seats on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee in order to attain quorum and ensure productivity. The following motion made by Ms. Pilar Carvajal, seconded by Ms. Sarah Leddick and approved unanimously by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee: 2. The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee supports the legalization of accessory dwelling units within the City in order to encourage workforce/affordable housing.
