Subject: Anti-Defamation League No Place or Hate Banner Presentation Event
The purpose of this LTC is to invite you to the No Place for Hate banner presentation event
sponsored by the City of Miami Beach in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
and Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at
the North Shore Band Shell (7275 Collins Avenue).
The presentation of the ADL No Place for Hate banner to each public school in the Miami Beach
feeder pattern is the result of the City's initiative to ensure a safe, peaceful, and respectful
school community for all youth in our public schools. Each public school in Miami Beach
completed several projects in support of the goal to end bullying at school, online, on the bus,
and at home. This presentation supports the City's attainment of the ADL designation as a
Community of Respect.
The schedule for the event is as follows:
