SUBJECT: Miami Beach Convention Center dvisory Board Motion
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("LTC") is to inform the Commission of a motion
passed by the Miami Beach Convention Center Advisory Board during their March 5, 2019 meeting.
Members Present: Laurence Herrup (Chair), Peter Matos (Vice Chair), Michael Goldberg, Peggie
Benua (Ex-Officio), Elizabeth Resnick, Lee Zimmerman and Liar Leser.
MOTION: Recommend the Board waive the option to review and preapprove rental waiver
applications but, at a minimum, be presented the waivers for review, post City Commission
approval, on a quarterly basis.
