SUBJECT: 630 Alton Road Demolition by mplosion Permit
This memorandum is an update of the demolition by implosion permit for 630 Alton Road. The
Miami-Dade County Board of Rules and Appeals approved the appeal by the applicant and the
decision of Miami Beach Building Official was reversed. Please note that the Building Official's
original decision of denial of the permit was based on the need for consistency, past practice, and
interpretation of the Building Code for safety reasons. The applicant will pursue demolition by
implosion and follow all applicable Florida Building Codes and safety regulations.
