As of September 30, 2005, the South Pointe Redevelopment District ceased to be a redevelopment area within the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency's jurisdiction. At that point, the City of Miami Beach assumed the responsibilities for the South Pointe Area. As of September 30, 2005, the South Pointe Redevelopment District ceased to be a redevelopment area within the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency's jurisdiction. Beginning in October, 2014 the South Pointe Pre-Termination Financial Information report is presented on an accrual basis of accounting. Previous reports were presented on a cash basis of accounting. Historical Financial Information The summary report included in the attached material, reflects that during the period from October 1, 1993 through March 31, 2019 $1,420,928,423 of revenues were received in the City Center District of the Redevelopment Agency RDA"). Of the $1,420,928,423 revenues received, a total of $351,653,832 was from the issuance of Revenue and Refunding Bonds (Series 2015A and 2015B) on December 15, 2015. On the expenditure side, $1,234,278,563 has been expended from October 1, 1993 through March 31, 2019. Of the $1,234,278,563 expended, a total of $259,338,102 was for expenditures related to RDA Convention Center project, $50,954,074 was payment to escrow for refunding of the outstanding bonds (Series 1998A, 2005A and 2005B) and $4,688,286 was cost of issuance of the bonds series 2015A and 2015B. The cash and equivalents balance as of March 31, 2019 is $212,270,927.
