Mayor Dan Gelber and the Consul General of Israel Lior Haiat will both be speaking at the traditional event for the community. Following the event, the City’s Environment & Sustainability Department will distribute seeds for attendees to plant their own trees and reusable bags to encourage individuals to do their part in preserving them. Symbolizing a long-standing tradition of giving back, the unique tree planting ceremony helps further environmental awareness throughout the City.
