SUBJECT: 4TH ANNUAL MIAMI BEACH YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL —CALL FOR
ARTISTS
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the Mayor and City Commission that the City of Miami
Beach is partnering with The Rhythm Foundation to produce the 4th Annual Miami Beach
Youth Music Festival.
Bands and individual performers interested in auditioning must be 18 years or younger
and either reside in Miami Beach, attend a Miami Beach school or be the child of a City of
Miami Beach employee.
Those who wish to audition must submit an application, found at www.miamibeach.rocks,
and a video recording of up to two songs (YouTube links encouraged) via email to
info@northbeachbandshell.com, by Friday, December 13, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
A panel of judges will choose the acts based on the submitted material, and performers
selected to participate in the 2020 Youth Music Festival will be announced on or before
Friday, January 17, 2020.
On Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., youth performers will take
the stage to rock out under the stars for the 4th Annual Youth Music Festival at the North
Beach Bandshell. Additional details on the festival will be shared as the date approaches.
