SUBJECT: Status Update on Invitation to ='d (ITB) No. 2019-309-DF for 16th Street
Parking Garage Fire Sprinkler Replacement
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of
Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2019-309-DF for 16th Street Parking Garage Fire Sprinkler
Replacement.
On August 16, 2019, ITB No. 2019-309-DF for 16th street parking garage fire sprinkler
replacement was issued. The Procurement Department issued bid notices to prospective
bidders utilizing www.publicpurchase.com and www.bidsync.com website. 96 prospective
bidders accessed the advertised solicitation. A voluntary pre-bid conference and site visit was
held on August 28, 2019; However, no bidders attended. A second voluntary pre-bid
conference and site visit was held on September 10, 2019, which resulted in six (6) interested
bidders attending. Bids were due on October 30, 2019. However, no responses to the ITB
were received by the deadline.
The cone of silence has now ended on this ITB. Staff will explore available options for the
