SUBJECT: 4TH ANNUAL MIAMI BEACH YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL
The City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation invite you to join us as we rock-
out at the 4th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival on Saturday February 29, 2020,
from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the North Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue).
This exciting event is the culmination of musical performance video auditions, held
during the month of December, as more than 30 local youth musicians applied for a
coveted spot at the Festival. Performers this year were selected by a panel of City and
music industry professionals, looking to showcase talented bands, school groups and
soloists.
This year the Festival will showcase the following acts on the Clark D. Burris stage:
All-Star Live Modern School of Music, Arrowhead, Avalanche, Genre 2, Isabella
Velasquez, Michi Sanz, Peach, Ripcord, Sunset 4, Visions, Young Musicians Unite Jazz
Collective. Featured artists include the Fienberg Fisher K-8 Rock Ensemble and the
Nautilus Middle School Jazz Band.
The Acoustic Garden Stage will host artists:
Esteban, Isabella Rose Sky, Julia Grace, Malena Kingston, Mark Charnetski, Mihi
Singer, Nina Marie, Rat's Mouth Jazz Collective
The Festival encourages attendees to explore their own talent as they visit the
instrument petting zoo, featuring mini-music lessons and hands-on art activities courtesy
of The Bass Museum; workshops for young artists; the City of Miami Beach Parks and
Recreation Department's Imagination Playground; local craft food vendors, and other
family-friendly activities. The evening will culminate with a performance by two well-
known local headliners, FOOM! and the legendary Miami Beach Senior High Rock
Ensemble.
