The Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce its participation in the
annual Mayors' Chess Challenge on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at
the Scott Rakow Youth Center(2700 Sheridan Avenue).
The Mayors' Chess Challenge is aimed at drawing attention to the scholastic benefits of chess in
the community and provides an opportunity for players of all ages to get together for a friendly
game of chess and fun with community leaders.
Come out and join your elected city officials as players of all ages and skill levels look to score a
checkmate! Free instruction, light refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
