SUBJECT Evaluation Committee Relative to Re est for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2020-161-ND, for
Professional Coastal Engineering Services for Waterway Dredging
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2020-161-ND, which seeks to retain the services of a diverse, comprehensive,
and multi-disciplined professional engineering consulting team to assist the City administration with the
planning, permitting and design for the dredging of City's waterways.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on July 2, 2020. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Sabrina Baglieri, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, The Office of Capital Improvement
Projects
• Ronnie lssenberg, President, Biscayne Point Homeowners Association
• John Lee, Committee Chair, Marine and Waterfront Protection
• Giancarlo Pena, Civil Engineer 11, Public Works Department
• Thais Vieira, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of the City Manager
• Elizabeth Wheaton, Director, Environment and Sustainability Department
