Morales, City Manager(_„,a±co«or.os Date: October 6, 2020 Subject: Flu Vaccine Update for Miami Beach Public School Youth The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update you on the status of the City of Miami Beach's efforts to provide the flu vaccine to Miami Beach youth. The city successfully partnered with Borinquen Medical Centers, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and The Children's Trust to provide free flu vaccines to 182 youth from September 26-30, 2020 and October 5, 2020 at Miami Beach Senior High School, Miami Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8, Biscayne Beach Elementary and Borinquen Medical Center. The City has expended $7,365.24 of the $15,000.00 allocated for this initiative. The approximate cost per dose is $16.81.
