SUBJECT: MOTION BY THE PLANNING BOARD RECOMMENDING CITY COMMISSION ACTION
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update the Mayor and City Commission
regarding a motion that was made by the Planning Board at its regularly scheduled
meeting on October 27, 2020.
At the conclusion of the October 27"" meeting, with all seven members present virtually,
the Planning Board unanimously adopted a motion recommending that the City
Commission urge the Governor and Florida Legislature to permit local government bodies
to continue to meet virtually due to the ongoing public health risks associated with in-
person gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
