SUBJECT: Recommendation from the Histo ic Preservation Board - Future Amendments to
the Land Use Development Regul tions.
The purpose of this L TC is to transmit a recommendation from the Historic Preservation Board
(HPB) regarding the review process for amendments to the Land Development Regulations. On
October 13, 2020 the HPB approved the following motion by a vote of 6 to 0, 1absent:
Motion to transmit a recommendation to the Mayor and City Commission to require
HPB review of any proposed amendment that impacts height, massing or scale
within the City's local historic districts, prior to review by the Planning Board.
The motion was discussed and considered during the Board's discussion of the Faena District
Overlay amendments, referred to the HPB by the City Commission on September 16, 2020.
