City of Miami Beach Extends State of Emergency Declaration
– To Curb the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus –
Miami Beach, FL – Keeping residents and businesses safe is the primary directive in
the city’s fight against COVID-19. As such, the City Manager has extended his State of
Emergency Declaration through May 7, 2020. The City Manager has also extended the
city’s “Safer at Home” Emergency Order, as well as the Emergency Measures, through
May 7, 2020. Any violation of the aforementioned emergency measures would subject
the individual or business entity to criminal penalties.
