Turning the CSC into a satellite transit office, residents can now apply for Golden and Patriot passports. Seniors and veterans will also be able to process their transit applications at this location in Miami Beach. “Residents will no longer need to visit the mainland to purchase transit passes or fill out an application,” said City Manager Jimmy L. Morales. “With this customer service enhancement, we’re projecting to process 1,200 annual transactions.” Previously, residents wishing to obtain a Metrobus or Metrorail Pass had to visit the Miami-Dade Transit office in Downtown or a Transit satellite office outside of Miami Beach. ### To request this material in alternate format, sign language interpreter (five-day notice required), information on access for persons with disabilities, and/or any accommodation to review any document or participate in any city-sponsored proceedings, call 305.604.2489 and select 1 for English or 2 for Spanish, then option 6; TTY users may call via 711 (Florida Relay Service).
