In addition to the measures established yesterday, the revised declaration mandates that all restaurants and nightclubs — who have occupancy loads greater than 250 people — cease operations immediately. However, if the establishment reduces and maintains its capacity to less than 250 people, they will be allowed to continue operating. Miami Beach Fire and Code Compliance officers are actively monitoring and enforcing this declaration. Any violation of these emergency measures is subject to arrest and criminal prosecution. The order is in effect through Friday, March 20 and may be extended by Commission action at the March 18 Commission Meeting.
